Musical Connections Fundraiser – 14th December
We are holding our 2nd Musical Connections Fundraiser on Friday 14th December at Thimblemill Library.
Doors open at 7.45pm and it costs £3 to come.
There will be a fantastic night of entertainment featuring Musical Connections band, Cosmic Soul; some Musical Connections members performing original songs and Musical Connections’ very own Music Support Worker, Steve Ison playing a set!
There will be a raffle where the star prize is 2 tickets to see a show at The Rep Theatre!
All proceeds will go to the Musical Connections project!
Hope to see you there!
Musical Connections Hubs – still some places
We still have places on the Musical Connections project for sessions at Northcroft, Orsborn House, Yardley and Lyndon (Longbridge is now full). Musical Connections is a network for vulnerable and isolated adults in Birmingham and Solihull. All details are on the flyer!
Musical Connections Fundraising Gig
Please come and support this Musical Connections Fundraising Gig on the 27th October! £3 entry
Huge thanks to Katy Bennett for agreeing to be a support artist. Musical Connections members will then perform a selection of tracks and finally, Musical Connections band ADHD will headline the night.
We are extremely grateful to Thimblemill Library for the use of their facilities!
This is the first of 5 fundraising events that Quench Arts will be running over the next 12months for Musical Connections as part of our Arts Council Wellbeing Organisational Development programme, some of which focuses on different ways to fundraise for our work. A great night is guaranteed and all for a good cause!
Musical Connections Hub programme is launching in July!
The Musical Connections Hub programme is launching in July. If you are interested in getting involved, please see the posters to see which venue is closest to where you live (Handsworth, Erdington, Yardley, Longbridge, Solihull).
